13 down, 18 to go...
It's been over half a year since I put together my list of 31 things I want to do before I turn 32. And since the last update, I've knocked off a few things on the list...namely...
3. Compose a song.
Done: May 5, 2008 - Wrote an elegy to my dearly departed fish otter..."One Fish, Two Souls, Three Years, Dead Fish"
4. Make a music video for aforementioned song in item #3.
Done: May 5, 2008 - Granted it was a live performance, but it's still a video!
8. Defeat four people in Mario Kart Wii.
Done: Throughout the month of May. - Thank goodness for online play!
14. See two other musicals.
Done: February 16, 2008 and June 14, 2008 - Saw Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at the Kirk Douglas Theater and Young Frankenstein when I went to New York.
17. Spend an afternoon at the beach.
Done: April 13, 2008 - Went with Albie and Joe to the beach during their trip to L.A.
18. See a concert of somebody whose album I do not own.
Done: May 30, 2008 - Saw Ladytron with my friends Corey and Macka
22. Go to a live sporting event.
Done: August 1, 2008 - Went with Matt to see a San Diego Padres game (featuring an appearance by the San Diego Chicken!!)
28. Walk to a place that I would normally drive to.
Done: May 2, 2008 - Walked with Matt over to Palermo's from his place on one of our dates...QUITE a walk. Definitely would have been a place I would have driven normally. Oh, my feet!
30. See a performance at the Disney Hall.
Done: June 28, 2008 - Matt and I saw the Harvard Glee Club perform at the Disney Hall. Go Crimson!
31. Travel somewhere that's at least 1,000 miles away from Los Angeles.
Done: June 13 - 15, 2008 - Went on a trip to New York for a pilot we were shooting there. A very fun (and wet) trip...
That's another 10 off the list, leaving 18 left on the list. A little behind at the slightly more than halfway...Methinks I need to pick up the pace!
