Eight days...
...it's been since I've blogged!
And what an eight days it's been...My voice is finally back to almost normal. Last week and the week before, I had the worst case of laryngitis with a bit of a cold. Not fun...especially when you're in the middle of starting a new job!
Speaking of which, in spite of the lack of voice, I started the new job last Tuesday and it's been great. There's quite a lot to do, but it's been fun! And the best part is that I'm working with two great bosses from my past. All in all, it's been a nice beginning to the new chapter in my professional life. :-)
Other bits and pieces from the past couple of weeks...
- Saw Margaret Cho's performance at the Wiltern on Saturday night. Hilarious new set. Two memorable lines...one I really can't say on here...but the other about the wrath of "Al-GAYda" in reference to the time that she posted some hate mail against her on her website which in turn prompted some of ardent gay fans to retaliate by barraging those people E-mails. :-)
- OK...The Burger King commercial where giant plastic Burger King presents the guy with the giant breakfast sandwich...creepy...really, really creepy...
- And now the link of the day...thanks to my roomie Ted. And follow the advice!

The King also appears in the Tender Crisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch Hootie-Song-Brook-Onion-Hoola-Hoopin-Dallas-Cheerleader-Dressing-Girls commercial.

Where you been man, I thought you were a contestant on Celebrity Farts. Have you seen this one Mandel, C-List has-beens like Vicki Lawerence fart on a constestants face and he or she, who is blindfolded, has to guess which has been has just farted.
