Plugging away....

Ahh...love how impromptu life can be at my house...

As we all watch the "Surreal Life" and The Golden Globes on Sunday night, Ted said, "Who's up for Disneyland tomorrow?" With it being a day off for a bunch of us, we figure, "Why not?"

So yesterday, a bunch of us trekked down to Anaheim and make our first pilgrimage Disneyland for 2005. We decided to take things at leisurely and try to check out some of the stuff we normally don't see when we go to the "house of mouse." We went to Innoventions which Tim appropriately nicknamed "The Hall of Consumerism!" Got to see how we'd all look 20 years from now. Essentially all the computer did was take a picture of our face an puffed up. So, basically we're all just going to get a little fatter in the future. Over on the California Adventure side, we saw "Golden Dreams," or as I like to call it, "Where's Whoopi?" It's an inspirational look at California's history with Whoopi Goldberg as a muse-like spirit guiding California's dreamers. Yeah, you see where it's going...Cue bombastic love ballad to dreams and California....HERE! The drive back wasn't as fun...A hour and 45 minutes to get home. Oh well, at least we put the iPod to good use with little medley of TV themes.

A couple of plugs...First, if you're in the San Francisco area next weekend, be sure to catch The Burglars of Hamm. A few of us saw their performance of "Easy Targets," a hilarious take on bad one-man shows. Really funny stuff. This weekend, they're going to be part of a sketch comedy festival up in San Fran. Definitely check it out if you can.

Also, tomorrow my friend Will is going to be featured on an episode of "Room Raiders" on MTV. I believe it airs 4:30 PM. (If you have DirecTV on the west coast, it's 1:30 PM). It should be a lot of fun if any of the other episodes I've seen are a good indicator. Besides the fact that I'm outside MTV's demographic (EEE!), I could never be on that show. I would dread at what somebody might uncover in my room!
