Too much paprika...

Went with Doug to the South Street restaurant in Burbank for lunch Sunday. This is a place that specializes in cheesesteaks and other Philly delicacies. We had only been there once before and we were quite pleased with the food there. Anyhoo, the restaurant was full of Eagles (the Philly kind) fans watching the game on their TVs, so there was a bit of a line there. We finally made our order and I got the Philly cheesesteak, spicy fries, and some Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes. Mmmmm...tastilicious all around...with the exception of the fries. Or should I say, a heaping of parprika with some potato bits lurking somewhere in there. The top layer of fries was CAKED in paprika. My mouth was burning like hell after the first few fries. After soldiering my way through half a serving of fries, I was half-expecting steam to come out of my ears. I never knew so much paprika could have so much kick!

Spent the afternoon and evening getting some initial video shots with the guys for the Christmas music video we're doing. I'll be putting it up here online on the evening of December 18th most likely in Quicktime movie format. I just finished matching the bits we videotaped to the music track in Final Cut Express and it's starting to shape up! YAY!
