Nutty

Okay...I was watching this week's episode of "Lost" and things were all right until the end. An imaginary jar of peanut butter?? Really now...

Also watched "The Apprentice." It was all right...despite my knowing better with the logistics of production and all, I was holding out hope that Trumpy would just get rid of all three people from the last part of the boardroom segment. And is it just me or has the scale of the challenges become smaller in the recent weeks. The first few weeks had challenges with Mattel and Crest, but in recent episodes they've had dog parlors and bridal gown sales?

Thanksgiving is almost here and I've found it to be my pop-culture civic duty to bring you this link:

X-Entertainment's Look at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 1984

It is nothing short of brilliant. Clips galore featuring Irene Cara, Joey Lawrence, Pat Sajak, a musical number with John Ratzenberger, Dionne Warwick sitting on a turkey, and "Mary Tyler Mooore's" Georgia Engel singing with Care Bears.

I NEED TAPE OF THIS...If any of you out there can get me a tape or DVD or this or the other Macy's Thanksgiving parades covered on the site (1985 and 1986), it would make a GREAT Christmas present. * bats eyes *

I've got a four hour tape of the 1984 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Video/Audio quality is decent. Make me an offer
