:-D

Ahhh...what a great end to "The Amazing Race's" fifth season! Such a well-edited, well-produced episode too. Totally reaffirmed why the show deserved its second Emmy over the weekend....

And some things I'll be taking away with me after watching this summer's "Amazing Race"...
  • "Broken" oxen are hella funny
  • "Vertigo" and "scarab" aren't as well-known words as I thought before
  • If you want to defeat a "little person," don't use sides of beef, caviar, or electric fences
  • The international sign for "STOP" is apparently the international sign for YIELD"
  • "The Blue Lagoon" lived on as Brandon dove for the clam last night. :-D
  • Never do the "search and find" Detours when you have a choice...They'll screw you up just like that giant foam PB&J sandwich on the "Double Dare" obstacle course
  • Good karma still reigns in the world!
  • Two-hour episodes move like hell on this show!
I just love this show and I can't wait for the next season...Thank goodness it's being held off until a better time slot than Saturdays is found.

YAY for Chip and Kim! YAY!

    Hello Mandel -

I've been reading your blog off and on for a while (I think I actually read your site first way back in the "Survey Says" days) and I must say that I agree with you on AR being super!!! I especially enjoyed the stop in Calgary as I was out west in Canada and shrieked when I saw that they were at Sunshine Village - it turns out I had been there not three weeks after they got there!

Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks for the cool photos (including whammy).

Best AM moment this past season:

Alison and Donny getting out of a cab and spotting Mirna and Shmirna running ahead of them, causing Alison to shout:

    "DONNY! MIDGET!!!"
