First of all, "Lost" was superb. Not usually into one-hour dramas, but I'm hooked. I love how it's not clear what exactly is going to transpire in the episodes to come. What is the monster lurking in the island? My guess is that it's a supernatural force. I just hope it's not a dinosaur. Please, don't let it be a dinosaur. And please, don't let it be those skeletal monkeybears that terrorized Brendan Fraser in "The Mummy Returns!" Oh, and the show certainly didn't help with my fear of flying...

Thanks to DirecTiVO I was able to also record "America's Next Top Model." At first, I wasn't quite digging that the first episode was an auditions episode. However, enough cattiness emerged to satisfy my appetite. Girlfight at Barney's Beanery! A legally blind contestant! A bitchy diva who's actually sensitive! A Republican model who wore an American flag as a prom dress! A "plus-size" (their term...not mine) model that makes Dolly Parton look like Twiggy! Jay wearing a jacket with WAY too many pockets! AHHHHH! Overload! Overload! Overload!

Wednesday TV is going to make my TiVo explode...and on top of all this NBC has bumped next week's new episode of "The Apprentice" to Wednesday night. It'll be all right TiVO...you can do it...you can do it...

Oh...coolest part of "America's Next Top Model"...the casting producer who appeared during the reveal of the 20 semi-finalists was somebody I actually worked with on "Greed." Ahh...how small this world can be!
