An early thanks...
I'm going to start off this Thanksgiving week by giving thanks to the press...most notably salon.com and the Australian Daily Telegraph for reporting about the "love letters" Michael Jackson wrote. An addition thanks to my friend SF for pointing me to the site. Here's my favorite quote from the article:
"He said Jackson called him Rubba because one of the games they used to play was called rubba rubba. The boy said, 'Michael told me he was my rubba rubba friend."'
After reading this quote, only one thing came to mind....Michael Jackson molested the Hamburglar?!?
Ahhh...yes, it's been almost a month since I've posted here. In the time since I've last posted, bits of this and that have happened. I attended two of the "Price is Right" primetime special tapings earlier this month namely Bob's birthday special and the college students special. Both were good shows, especially the birthday special. Each had its own unique little touch. Speaking of "Price," things are still going in the design stages for the game I created.
Had some time a couple of weeks ago to catch up with my friend EH from Florida. She was visiting town for business and she joined DF and I to see Guster live at the Wiltern. 'Twas an excellent show...it topped the last one I saw them do earlier this summer at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood.
Did a first Friday night...Went to West Hollywood and met up with JA, SH, JN, DW, and a few others. While that in itself wasn't entirely unique, it's what transpired later in the evening that I hadn't done before. Went with SH, JN, DW, et al. to Rage. And there I proceeded to...get on the dance floor. *GASP* Debbie Allen would have probably weeped at my feeble attempts to "rock my body," but it was fun. Hell, it was probably the most fun I've had in Weho...ever...
For those of you keeping score...I am still going to the gym. Pulled off three days in a row of going tonight. I guess seeing all the sea of fit guys at Rage Friday night kinda kicked my ass into gear.
Favorite new shows for the season..."A Minute with Stan Hooper" and "Arrested Development"...
"Trivial Pursuit: The DVD Pop Culture Edition"...aka the easiest Trivial Pursuit EVER...
