Grease is the word

Spent the afternoon browing a bunch of music sites. One site I really love going to is pianorock.com. Lots of indie artists and singer/songwriter types. Favorite find on the site: Gavin Degraw. His site has some song samples. Really good stuff.

Hung out with Drew tonight. We made a trek up to the Northridge Chili's for dinner. Awesome blossoms and chicken crispers...Cripes...So much grease clogging up my system...but oh so good. The dinner was partly a warm-up to the "Chili's Chicken Crispers Challenge" which I'll endure when Albie visits. What is this challenge you ask? Well...Back in high school, Albie, a bunch of friends, and I would often go out to eat at the local Chili's. Almost always, I'd order the chicken crispers. And almost always, I'd never finish my meal. It got to the point that Albie instituted this challenge. Every time he went out to Chili's with me and I ordered the chicken crispers, if I was able to finish off all the chicken crispers, he's pay for my meal. It is a challenge that I have yet to conquer. For those of you not familiar with the chicken crispers, it's not easy. These are mutant chicken strips that are battered, fried, and greasy as hell. Oh, and for those of you keeping score...had I taken the challenge tonight...I would have failed. :-/ Blarg...
