In spite of the rise of the rapping kangaroo, the weekend has been fun. Yesterday, I went to my friend David's for his big birthday party. Lots of people from the game show gang there. Even Matt and Brian flew in to L.A. from their respective homes. I even saw a friend of mine whom I hadn't seen in YEARS. Hell, the last time I saw him was when I was living in Glendale. After the b-day bash, I came back home just in time to watch the "Trading Spaces" Vegas episode (complete with the live reveal...tape-delayed for the West Coast). We had a few people over to watch that. Hildy Santo-Tomas, as always, delivered with a weird, multi-colored homage to a painting she found in London. Her stuff is so bad even *I* can tell it sucks! But, the two couples seemed to like what they got.
