No more bets

Guess who came over for dinner? Drew. We finally got around to meeting up for dinner tonight in spite of his hacking and wheezing. There seems to be a bug going around. A number of friends and co-workers haven't been feeling well lately. The past few days, I've also been a bit out of it and groggy. Call it good timing, but I've got a checkup at the doctor tomorrow afternoon that I've had scheduled for the past couple of weeks.

Hung out quite a bit with Drew tonight. When he came over, he wasn't really hungry and neither was I so we just hopped around Burbank to do a little night shopping before our appetites returned. Had a nice late dinner at the Outback before he took me back home. It was nice to spend some quality time with him especially with his busy schedule as of late...

Apparently, a pot luck lunch is happening at work tomorrow...Problem is, I don't have a dish that I can cook here at home. To quote ol' Pooh-bear..."Think...think...think..."
