B.L.T.

I go to Arby's today for lunch and I try one of their new Ultimate B.L.T. sandwiches. As I'm standing in line, a guy goes up to the counter and asks, "What's on the B.L.T.?" The guy behind the counter says, "Bacon, lettuce, and tomato." The guy asking the question then says, "Oh...I thought there was turkey or roast beef on it." Now, is it just me or hasn't B.L.T. ALWAYS been just bacon, lettuce, and tomato and nothing else other than the bread and mayo? Wouldn't bacon, lettuce, and tomato with turkey or roast beef be a club sandwich?

Upon telling Drew about this after lunch, he said that some places sell Turkey B.L.T. and Roast Beef B.L.T. sandwiches...But still, doesn't that defeat the name of the B.L.T. sandwich??? There's only ONE T in "B.L.T.!!!" There's no R.B. in "B.L.T.!!!"

As to the sandwich itself, don't bother...Too much bacon for me to stomach and to much pepper. Plus the bacon they used was chewy. I like my B.L.T.s with a few strips of crispy warm bacon on it, thank you very much...
