I dunno...I've kinda been out of it this week. I'm not sure whether it's been the remnants of Friday's head cold still lingering in my cranium or all this bouncing from coast to coast. Not that anything bad has happened. In fact, it's been an eventful but not crazily busy week...
Monday, I got to check out "Islands of Adventure" in the morning before I headed to the airport. I'd never been to IOA before. The last time I went to any of the Universal theme parks before these Orlando trips was just before they opened it up. It was quite neat...especially since I got to get in for free. Checked out the Marvel Super Hero Island's attractions. "Spider-Man" definitely lived up to all the hype about it and "Hulk" is probably one of the smoothest steel coasters I've been on. I got soaked on the "Dudley Do-Right" ride and went to the "Cat in the Hat" attraction which was VERY cute. The plane flight was all right and I got home just in time for a good ol' dose of L.A. rush hour traffic. HOORAY!
Things have been at nice decent level of busy-ness at work this week. Did a couple things for the Kato project and some other presentations we've got coming up. From what I hear, I'll probably be back in Orlando the weekend after this weekend and if not then, the weekend after that one.
Nightlife has been relatively calm as well...Got together with Gary, Drew, Nathan, Christie, and Erin on Tuesday night and saw a bunch of the game show folk on Wednesday. And I've just been loafing about today.
Nothing else too exciting to talk about this week...but 'tis probably best. It just gives me a bit more time to wind down from the craziness of all this traveling over the past couple of weeks.
