Priceless...

'Twas a fun day at work today. I gotta love when my job entails heading over to CBS Television City to check out a taping of "The Price is Right." And that's indeed what I did today. I stopped by the Bob Barker Studio to catch a taping of the third or a series of prime-time specials "Price" is doing for the summer. This particular one was a salute to the U.S. Air Force. So, almost everyone in the audience was a member of the U.S. Air Force. The show was great. The format is the same as the daytime version but with bigger prizes, some slight set modifications, a $100,000 top prize on the Showcase Showdown Wheel, and some jib camera shots. Oh, and there was live fanfare from the Air Force band to start off the show. Good stuff and Bob is still the best. I've never seen anyone hold that much command over an audience. The specials start airing May 17th and will air through the rest of May and the month of June on CBS primetime.
