Allen Ludden would be uh...

Got together with a bunch of the game show gang tonight for a mini-game night. I kinda liken these to poker nights but with more bells and buzzers. 'Twas fun as always. We tried some of the more obscure home games like "The Joker's Wild" (nothing like trivia questions written in 1972 about the Kennedy Years), "You Don't Say!" (a game which still gives my brain cramps just thinking about playing it), and "Remote Control." The last game I played before I left was "Password '75" in which I made an overzealous "double" play on the word "initials." I thought I could get my partner to say it off of "monogrammed..." Yeah, in hindsight...not a great call on my part. I think I could hear Allen Ludden, Elizabeth Montgomery, AND Lucille Ball rolling in their graves. That and me misinterpreting the clue "overseas" as "oversees" cost my team the game. ACK!
