Technical difficulties
Well, I'm the victim of the @Home shutdown. I had no cable modem access last night. Hopefully, the Powerlink migration will be all through by tonight. In any case, that explains the absence of a Blog update last night...So...here's the delayed update that was supposed to be up yesterday...
Yesterday, was a nice change of pace in the office. We have a few more bodies now that the staff from "Card Sharks" has moved in. It's also cool to finally have a few more people around my age milling about. Work keeps chugging along though it really would be nice to hear something a bit more definite in terms of the new projects we've got down the line...
Watched a bit of the "Elton John: Live by Request" on A&E last night. I have yet to watch the last hour, but there was no mention of the "it's my last album" speech he gave last week at a concert. Methinks the comment was made in the midst of one of Elton's tantrums. There were some posts on the Elton John newsgroup from people who were at that concert where he made the quote. They were saying that he seemed a bit "off" that night and some even said he was a bit "pissy." It wouldn't surprise me. He's been making "it's my last concert" statements since 1976!
I've already got a show to look forward to for January. It's the "Real World: Chicago." Click here and you'll see why. To put it simply...it's a buffer version of Danny, at least looks wise. And he's gay too! God bless MTV....
