Took a walk down the 3rd Street Promenade this morning on some work-related business. It was such a nice day today. Just the right combination of winter and sun. Despite the stroll past some shops in my field trip today, I still am nowhere closer to figuring what I'm getting people for the holidays. Grrr....

Speaking of shopping and all, I may be in the minority, but that new Geoffrey Giraffe in the Toys R Us ads is creeping me out. For those who haven't seen him, he's now a realistic looking giraffe with an animated mouth. He just doesn't have the charm or cuddly friendliness as the cartoon one. And the cartoon one had family too. Where's his wife and kids?!? This new Geoffrey brings back bad images of Jumanji.
