In search of the great putt-putt

So tonight, I met up with Pete (yet another friend I met "online") for the first time in person. Originally coffee was scheduled for the early evening, but those plans were sidetracked due to Pete's needing to stay in a little bit longer for work. We ended up going to Bob's Big Boy for a late dinner. I had a nice club sandwich and was originally going to with a hot fudge banana sundae, but our waiter suggested I go with the hot fudge cake since it was the same price and it was "better." True on the first part, but not so sure on the last part. 'Twas a bit too rich for my tastes...Damn you, Big Boy waiter with the blue eyes and funny parted hair!

Pete's a cool guy with a good sense of humor and it turns out he likes the mini-golf or as they call it back east, putt-putt. In our talk about mini-golf, we've realized that there aren't that many mini-golf places in the L.A./Valley area. I mean, the only one I can think of is the one on Sepulveda near the Galleria. Oh well, in any case, it looks like a putt-putt showdown is in the works.
